I've a pair of Revelatins of which the steerer is too short for the frame I want to build up (well my mates frame atleast) I've access to a machine shop and so can get a new steerer tube turned, has any body attempted pressing the old one out? I tried wih limted success (and plenty of heat!)
Am I better off sawing the old one off level to the crown and them dremeling out the rest or what!! HELP!!

You'd be better of selling them and buying some new/used ones with the correct length steerer!
