Off on holiday tomorrow for a couple of weeks in the Preseli Hills & Pembrokeshire coast. Anyone in the area be warned - rain & cloud are almost guaranteed.
Anyone got any good route suggestions for the Preselis? Preferably some not-too-technical ones for the whole family plus some decent ones for me & my son.
Cheers
Preseli half ridge or full ridge, here's the half map not sure if this will suit the kids though?
Canaston woods and Slabech are good for the whole family
Also recomend Llys-y-fran resevoir, do it clockwise to get the big tarmac climb out of the way at the start. Easily a family ride but you and your son would have fun if doing it a bit more "aggressively" too.
Enjoy, wish I was there myself ๐
where do you want to start from? how far do you want to ride?
Beer at the Tafarn Sinc in Rosebush. Lovely!
Beer at the Tafarn Sinc in Rosebush. Lovely!
Do tell more - I could do with taking Father North for a decent pint next time I'm down to see the folks (they're near Newcastle Emlyn, so not that far away).
Dyffryn Arms, Cwm Gwaun.
Decent Bass, friendly folks, garden. No other trappings of modern life.
Also fine road for family cycling.
Cheers, nostoc.
Where will I be starting from? Not far off Brynberian
How far? As short or as long as is interesting, but circular!
