ABC enammelling in Nailsea

You do need to do the masking yourself though but that's easy enough.

Argos Cycles do enamelling, not powder coating. It looks great, but is expensive and a bit fragile.

For powder coating, this lot did a lovely job on my Thorn (and they did all the masking): http://www.rpaengineering.co.uk/index.html

Clubber/ransos - how much am I looking at for a frame?

Nicknoxx - yeah, know about Argos, but would rather do powdercoat as it's cheaper and tougher.

IIRC about £40 -£50 depending on how happy they're feeling on the day (and what paint you go for).

The paint quality is very good (better than Argos IME) but they're not as careful with finishing as Argos so you'll end up with painted threads, etc unless you mask properly.

There's a couple of motorbike powder coaters. I had a chat with these people a they were helpful although they couldn't do what I wanted for commercial reasons: http://www.realitymotorworks.com/

I have used these guys in the past, not for bikes, but for car bits and pieces. They've always produced good work though.

Difficult to say what the cost was, as I had my driveway gates and a parasol stand done at the same time! I think it was about £200 for the lot, which included sandblasting, and masking up, so maybe £75-£100 for the frame & fork?

If you're in Bristol, you're welcome to come and look at the bike. Oh, and a top tip for replacement decals - this company do them for Argos: http://www.vizualimpact.co.uk/

I was wondering about decals. If I took in photos of the originals on the bike would Vizual Impact be able to knock up some new ones? and what about the [whispers]853 sticker

Are they not available from Reynolds? I got my 531c stickers direct from them.
