Seems that RM and Collect + only handle items up to 60/50cm in length these days. Best option for a set of forks in a box that measures 81cm on its longest side?

I used G WIZZ last time I posted something, seemed reasonable at the time (UPS did the collection/delivery)

I used Parcelforce 48 last week with the forks in a usual fork box after measuring and weighing them at home. Think it cost about £11 and they picked up from my home after I paid online.

Well I've posted a car gearbox with TNT and its currently classed as lost.

My recent experience suggests I won't use them again.

I sent a pair of forks for servicing using collect+ the other week.

-Paid online (£7.99 with insurance), and printed the postage label.
-Dropped off at the corner shop

Didn't notice any size restrictions in the T&Cs. There were no problems anyway!

G Whizz have gone bust I think, shame as they were good when I used them a few times.
Used parcel monkey (city link) and had no problems to post some forks.
Depends if you can wait around for collection or want to drop off at the PO I guess.

The post office should accept oversized parcels. I think they use Parcelforce for that?

I've sent a wheelset in a massive box box twice and had no problems.

I have used Parcelforce (through the Post Office) without issues. I think the length limit is 113cm or thereabout so you should have no trouble.

Try www.parcel2go.com. Really easy and has been very reliable for me so far.
