Anyone every measured the exposed stanchion on a pike? I have a got a new pike 454 dual air, set up with equal pressure in both chambers. The exposed stanchion is less than 140mm. I only noticed because my 130mm RS revs (2007 409, Dual air) on another bike were looked longer and I took a tape measure to them. The pike was about 130mm and the rev was about 135mm. I would have thought the pike should be at least 140mm

Anyone else notice something similar or have the same problem. I am going to take the air out of both chambers tonight and then pump them up again and see if that makes a difference.

I know it does not really make any difference how long the fork is, but I have heard of creeping travel loss on RS forks and I am off to the alps in a few weeks and don’t want that to happen!

cheers

Did you charge + or - chamber first?

just let a bit of air out the - chamber see if it pops up, i always set the - chamber 10psi lower than the +
