I know, if it's who it seems it would logically be then i thought it was worth a PSA as they get recommended on here as good cover for households with bikes.

Only in certain respects, they would still be liable to nay 3rd parties but could then go after the insured driver for the money but they should still pay out in the first place.

I don't think insurers would ever pay for private treatment in order to get someone back to work quicker, which is essentially the same.
All he's left with is a claim for the extra pain and suffering whilst waiting for the op

Presumably they work out the costs of the OP Vs lost income they'd have to pay out? They (insurers in general) pay for private physio for whiplash?

Presumably he can claim for lots of physio for his various injuries, right up until the NHS does the op

I'd imagine he might need, oooh, hours every day
