My old (04) Mount Vision has suffered a badly stripped BB thread, so in the position that the old girl has to be retired what hardtail frame to replace with?

100mm forks, & all lightweight kit will be transfered...

Budget? Preferred material, if any?

Hmm, £350-£450 budget, alu or steel.

100mm forks and lightweight kit, I'd probably look at a scandal

XT running gear, Formula K18 brakes, x223 rims on Hope hubs.

Not sure what there is out there as a frame only deal, been ages since i've looked at HT frames.
