I was in an accident recently and need a replacement for my pompino. i've always been very impressed with the pompino and have used this one as a regular winter commuter. mine is fairly old but one of the benefits of the 1st gen was that the fork took a road caliper (i'm not a fan of canti's). although the new v4 looks nice and comes as a frameset at a nice price (currently £130).
What is hot in the fixed road market these days. i no longer read much of the current publications i can usually pick up most info from here.
would prefer steel frame with mudguards clearance essential, the fork to be able to take a caliper brake, everything else can be worked around.
