So I decided I wanted a polished frame, & not just any frame my Ventana El-Ciclon to be specific. Being a Ventana the back end is polished anyway, but after seeing one on the Ventana site I'd had it in mind for ages.
So Mon night I set to work with the Nitrimors...

Machined section by the bottom bracket took a bit more work, but eventually all came off...

Started off with Wet/Dry>Autosol...hard work. So bought a kit from Ebay, 3-mops with graded soap etc.
At this point I began to harbour doubts, as the frame had been lightly shot-blasted for painting at Ventana. The effort involved in doing one section of tube meant it would have taken literally weeks to do the whole frame. (2-3 hours a night...imagine all those machined pockets!!!).
So I've chickened out, & dropped it at a Powder Coaters this afternoon. ๐Ÿ™‚

I chose a nice metallic silver.
Decided to get the boring black anodised suspension bits re-done as well. Great service from anodisersteve off here. Posted Monday, arrived back today. Wondering if the having the headset & seat clamp done also might be a bit much, but what the hell...

Looking forward to getting the frame back now, for the rebuild.
Obligatory finished build pics soon. (I hope).

Where's the "like" button? I like the amp bits. Now I want to get mine redone white with coloured bits.
