My Cove Handjob
[img] [/img]

My Genesis iO
[img] [/img]

I'm thinking of swapping all the nice bits off the Handjob onto the iO, selling everything else (like the Cove Frame etc) and building/buying a Alfine rear wheel for the iO to make 2 bikes in one

cheers everyone theyre all providing me with some good ideas. Some really nice looking bikes out there. Ive got to admit to having a bit of a soft spot for rock lobsters as i used to own one. I think memories of good times on that bike are what made me buy the sanderson. I really like the bars on graemejones' ti on one aswell. what are they?

They're the pipedream rigid forks, 450mm a-c so slightly longer than the norm for 26er rigids.

Trying really hard to stick to the same kinda bike here, and not post up anything with drops 😉

'92 Kona:
Now with bigger front tyre, and tomorrow (hopefully), a 180mm f-rotor.
[img] [/img]

'10 Genesis Altitude. Curiously, I've not ridden this since the 31st of July 2010, but I might ... might take it out this weekend - I'm very tempted to dump the suspension and just whack in some rigid 29er forks instead, as I'm not keen on suspension ...
[img] [/img]
It's not really quite that freakish, that camera has a peculiarly odd sense of perspective, and it's a rubbish angle for the shot anyway.

Oh and here was my BFe.. kind of like the Trailstar but more stable downhill and not as fun on flatter stuff.. I'd probably buy one again but either in blue or orange, and maybe the 17" version.

Colournoise, that Trailstar is awesome.

Thanks.

Built it back in 2000 IIRC with the same frame. fork and wheels as it still runs. Now my second/commuter MTB but still rides sweet and with the old 80mm Bombers on it and a 50mm stem it handles SO well on the twisty stuff (if a little lairy on anything steep up or down).

Cant wait to get it built up now. cheers evreyone. I had a cube ltd team on bike to work so swapping most of the bits (all the bits that'll fit) over to the sanderson. Possibly going to go 1x10. Definately getting a shorter stem (the one on the cube looks like a canal boat tiller!)Swapping tyres to some big fat maxxis ive got then just wait for wrist to get better and off we go!

😆

I've just chucked two pairs of skanky old pedals in the bin and the rest of the spares will be going on ebay later . . . I will then steer clear of any threads with the words steel, hardtail or tiny in the title . . . oh 😳 . Damn bicycles - no wonder I have no money for shoes . . . or jeans.

It's true. It's not funny. When I saw her she had torn jeans on bless her poor little thing. 😥

And she'd nicked her teenage kids' clothes.
