Vulgar concept, I know. But I'm fed up of getting a wet 'arris on the London ratbike after a shower and my saddle cover isn't doing its job.

The old SDG Belair has had its day anyway.

Does anyone make a saddle of similar arse-shape as a charge spoon or SDG but in a non-absorbant plastic?

Bit wide but probably comfy, and isn't just plastic: http://fabric.cc/saddles/scoop-gel/

I was going to suggest fabric. sister brand to Charge developed so they can be sold for OE on competitors' bikes.

I've got a bottom of the range spesh on my commuter. Plastic and comfy for me. Flatter topped than the 2 you mentioned, though.

Carrier bag over the saddle and tied to the seat post for full chav BSO appeal?

You could go posh and use a Waitrose bag!

christonabike how much are those fabric saddles?
OEM? pah!

I did have a sainsburys bag (oh, the shame) but some scrote nicked it.

Anyone know whether the SSC saddles in vinyl soak up water or not?
