I currently run a 140mm travel steel hardtail and probably should replace my alloy bars as I've crashed a few times. Will carbon bars make a difference? The bike is not that light shaving a few grams in weight isn't a priority but if they add to comfort and control then I'm happy to get them...

went from 400gram all bars to 120 gram carbons, the carbons are much better as far as comfort goes.

I went from a set set of really cheap old type, narrow alu bars to a wide set of carbon easton haven new type.. noticed no difference whatsoever. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

I was expecting good things from the reviews of trail chatter being reduced etc. But i noticed no difference.. ๐Ÿ™

(I ride full rigid too)

My Thomson carbon bars feel a damn sight more forgiving than my Superstar alloy bars

Definitely less buzz from my chewey on one knuckleball than the previous fatbar. Love the fatbar shape but was killing my arms in a rigid.
