Hi All,
Have realised that I haven't ridden my road bike for over 6 months so think I'll sell it on and buy a DH rig or hardtail instead!

It's a Planet X Superlight Pro Carbon with Dura Ace 7800 shifters/mechs, ultegra brakes, FSA Gossamer chainset and Planet X wheels/stem/bars/post with an SLR saddle.

It is 2 years old but has done less than 500 miles from new as the tyres and brake pads (original) will attest!

Not a mark on it anywhere (apart from the saddle which was from a previous bike) - what sort of money could I hope to get for it? No idea about road bikes and only bought it as an ex colleague who was a roadie pestered me into it!

Cheers

Chris

How much was it new? Divide it by two, then some.

What size is it?

worth about 5-600 pounds i would say. Considering you can get a full ultegra for a grand then 600 bucks is about right

Funny how its always us taller chaps after bargains.

Probably due to the majority of stuff turning up in medium I guess?

It's a large.

Will dust it off and get some pics online if anyone is interested. A mate bought an identical bike at the same time and has used it even less than me so there could well be 2 for sale!

Cheers

Now, has anyone got a nice DH bike for about £800....
