im wondering if there is anywear near blackburn were i can ride fast downhill off road?
Around Rivington Pike are some entertaining routes....
Longridge Fell has some ultra steep, techy DH tracks....
Healy Nab is quite fun for an afternoon...
Tony where are you actually based, is it in Blackburn or surrounding areas?
im in great harwood. and my only transport is my bike
i'm in accrington. there is some downhill specific stuff over towards Hurst Green in whalley.
There are a lot of routes around Darwen and Accrington, up on the pennine bridalway.
Theres a new mini trail at billinge wood, just the other side of blackburn.
yea i was thinking maybe a a walk up to darwen tower is on the cards. i have been up these befor and i remember right its quite bumpy and rocky
billinge wood is okay i just hate walking up there for the 2mins back down. after the trail there is like one decent corder with a little rock garden befor. (two trees trail) tricky sixty is good fun tho ๐
Whats all this talk of walking?
i like to save my energy for the way back down. plus my stinky weighs as much as my house!
There's some cheeky trail development going on in Deer Park Wood, near Whalley. But I didn't tell you that.
The best DH that I know in the area is into White Coppice cricket ground.
