Any Pivot Mach 429 owners on here? How do you rate the bike?
I have the SL version, it’s brilliant, rides like a really fast trail bike, climbs amazingly well, and is a very well made/designed frame.
Don't own one but a mate does. It's sublime. Maybe take Strava with a pinch of salt when it comes to objective comparisons but the first time I rode his 429 I got something like 4 Strava PBs on trails I'd been riding for 10+ years. It's the only bike I've ridden that makes me want a change from my ratty old Pronghorn.
If you're anywhere near Malvern, my mate runs an LBS with lots of Pivot demo bikes.

sweamrs has the 429 Trail (so the older version) and loves it. Rides bigger than travel suggests but still pretty lightweight.
