Firstly, need them in 26" and preferably 130mm/140mm depending on axle to crown height.

I see there are variations like solo air, guessing it means fixed travel...?
Dual position meaning 130mm/160mm. Are these travel reducing forks reliable or do I treat the travel adjust thing as when they creep up they need servicing type thing?

Also prices seem to vary hugely on Merlin cycles site at the moment.
Is there anywhere worth having to purchase from EU RS dealer on the cheap at the moment.

I would like to know axle to crown height of pikes at 130mm in 26" mode.

Tbh I am still debating within myself to go for RS again as I had three RS forks a few years back all from new and all of which disappointing from a QC pov and especially performance pov.

I was thinking Bos Deville AMs in 140mm 650b if the axle to crown came in at 535mm or less? But even though I can and would notice quality differences in performance, I know I am not worthy of riding them as it's been many years since peak physical riding prowess.

Any help would be much appreciated and thanks in advanced.

26 inch 150mm pikes are 532 A2C - to change to 140 you'll need a new air cart. I wouldn't want to use them in 130mm mode all the time. mattoc can be adjusted to suit 140-150-160 internally.

I've had numerous Bos products (Devilles & Vip'r), all of which have been brilliant. They have the best performance in my opinion. However, the Pike is close & the price can't be ignored, nor can the poor after sales service by Bos (if they go wrong).

I currently have Pikes & an avalanche tuned RP23 - I can't see me changing any time soon, if ever. I can put up with slightly less good but still excellent over "awesome but why won't they reply to emails now I've broken it".
