I've had Air and currenty got coil.
The airs are more adjustble, and it's easier than swapping springs, but there's not a lot between them otherwise. If you like to 'fit and forget' then go for coil, if you like to faff, go for air. I don't think you'll go wrong with either

Yep, I've got myself a new rear hub, but I need rim + spokes first before I can sell. 2-3 weeks I reckon....

I'll be honest with you, it's, err, "seen some action"..! ๐Ÿ™‚
One of the disc threads is drilled out and needs a bolt through it. The rim was dragged down the road after the tyre popped off, which I filed smooth, and there's a ding in it that I straightened. It's been like that for a year or two though and it still keeps going.... It's pretty straight and has good bearings otherwise
For the record it's a Hope XC, DT DB spokes with Pro-Lock nipples and a 717 disc rim.
Email me if you're still interested and I'll ping you some pics when I come to sell, OK?
