Hi all, I have some Pike 160mm forks RCT3 solo air which I think are 2014 vintage.
I am getting 120mm travel out of them.
I have read the forum and done some digging but to no avail...
I have done a lower leg service and also used the small zip tie trick.
The forks feel good and plush and the damper had a service recently.

What say ye?

Do you mean that no matter how hard you ride them, the bottom 40mm is unused?

Or are they stuck down by 40mm initially, leaving only 120mm to use?

I am losing the initial travel in the fork. If I take air out and cycle the travel, its getting 30mm less.
Just done a lowers basic service with some fresh oil. Didn't make any difference.

I have not changed the air seals. A local place might have done it in a service though.

Apologies if this is insulting your intelligence but they aren't the dual position forks are they?

I picked up some 2nd hand 160mm pike forks a few years back and it turns out they were 130/160 travel with a lever on the top of the fork leg. Took me a while to work out why they didn't get all the travel and it was only when I put the serial number into the Rockshox APP that I found out that they were dual position. I didn't even know they made such a thing.
