Stoner, I live in Newbury, photos were taken in Blacklands Woods near Thatham...
Carbon - I really like the look of that, looks expensive (even if it wasn't 😆 )

daffy, for the love of god, please not ss, a Klein deserves better than that!
Poindexter, why.......??!
Thanks Will I was talking to the wife and I don't seem to be able to multi task.
poindexter, you have got some very nice bikes. i'd be interested to know how you justify a collection of which those are just "some", though!
still, well played - yours and mine mean there are now 1.5 ellsworths in this thread! 😮

Judging by that pic on the first page, think you may have gone for a size too large..........
The award for nicest looking bike goes to...
...Proliner85
That is stunning mate 🙂
Poindexter, why.......??!
Why what? The group shot? I had to clear the garage while i installed a mezzanine floor... To store all the other bits and part built bikes!!!

I think that I'm like a lot of people on here - I like building bikes but I get too attached to them and can't ever get rid of them!
I've managed to get rid of a couple since that photo - the Giant Road bike and the Marin Nail Trail. But now there's also a retro Peugeot 531 roady that I built 'for the missus' and various other frames that I plan to revive if I ever find time.
The Blur's my main bike - perfectly suits the Pennines near my home; the Ellsworth is my Lakes bike, lovely on bigger descents; the 'Rat is the commuter/winter road trainer; Chammy - play bike; and the rest I tend to keep so that mates or those 'between bikes' have something to borrow if they want to come for a ride.

Dunno what happened to the last one! - I give up
Cheers Will!
I've always had a thing for orange and white bikes probably because I lusted after a Skyway Street Beat BMX back in the 80's, as piloted by Neil Ruffell (rip) on the Kellogs BMX comps.
Always wanted a Haro Master in green as well, and years later drooled over an early Klein Adroit with the green and blue fade paint job, ah the memories...

Seeing as I had nothing better to do this afternoon I thought I'd get in on this:

Does that link work?
Techies . What's going on.?
First my unobtanium santa cruz/cotic/klein joint venture gary fisher prototype 9" er looks like a 1987 muddy fox courier ,then the link doesnt work .
I blame my 5g 15 mp camera satphone / blender/tartan zip up booties.
Even worse , you cant see gary barlow in the background arguing with ronan keating over who's best at climbing mountains for charity.
In fact it looks a bit like winter hill .
In actual fact it might be the shot from base camp just before we overtook Hilary to the summit. We gave him the win . I couldnt handle all the fame and that.
And money and stuff.
And the knighthood.
*goes to buy metal polish*
*pulls rusty childs bike from shed*
Don, that Sirus is lovely. A proper work horse, looks just right.
I'm tempted to chop in my Chameleon for one of those.

Thanks, I considered a Chameleon before buying, but most of the comments regarding the Aluminium frame and harshness of ride put me off. The Sirius is great, as I'm a devotee to simplicity and hardtail I love it for all day rides. I had an aluminium (old) GT Avalanche which was great but a bit harsh, so it made the buying decision a bit easier regarding the steel/alu question.
The only real problem is that I'm a bit of a speed freak which means the Orbea gets used more frequently, hey ho!
I like the Old Charlton steel flat bar racer above.
