Desk based today and having a bit of a music crisis.

Lately been enjoying:

Imagine Dragons
OneRepublic
La Roux
Gary Clarke Junior

Fist (sensible) suggestion that is new to me gets my ears attention plus feedback / review!

edit: I know, wrong forum.

Don't worry Camo, could be a long day and therefore plenty of time to listen to both!

Started on Kurt, liking what I hear so far. Got some Dire Straits undertones to it (in a good way)

WINNER!

To make camo feel a bit better I shall shortly be sujecting my studio to surfer blood.

For a bit later in the day, there is an amazing playlist by Matthew E White where he picks his influences (link below). It's also worth listening to his album for some indie/blues/gosspel/R'n'B goodness.

Awesome! Enjoy. ๐Ÿ˜‰

EDIT: that's a pretty good playlist, huws. Nice to know people are still listening to Dr. John, who is officially a god. His Remedies record is another recommendation, if you're into that old-school New Orleans thing...

Only know a little about Dr John, one of those artists i've always known about but never investigated fully. I'll queue Remedies up for after lunch.

if we are going slightly off piste can i recommend this Walter Gibbons - Jungle Music some of the finest disco you'll ever encounter. Magic Bird of Fire is a particular high point.
