If I buy a Shimano Saint SM BB71 83mm Press Fit MTB Bottom Bracket will it fit any PF92 shell bike with a shimano crank? Is the 83mm just related to the length of the sleeve?
I’m a bit confused because presumably as long as the bearing is the right size to fit a shimano crank it’s just the sleeve that is different, so I can just reuse the sleeve that’s currently in place with the existing BB.

… the reason being the place I need to buy a load of other bits from has this but no other similar bottom brackets that might fit.

Edit - I read your post properly - yes, should just be a different sleeve - you could run it without the sleeve, or possibly swap in a sleeve from the old BB
