I've been searching for the ultimate commuting jacket. Currently it's my Charge Surface Hoodie but I'd heard great things about Rab Vapour Rise and thought I'd try this jacket (same material).
I tried it on one comute...the arms were too short for me (I could only get an M) and I found it either under-insualted or less windproof than my Hoody - i.e. not as warm nor as cosy. It did seem pretty breathable though, perhaps moreso, I guessit's designed for less cold/windy conditions than my zero-ish comute on Monday.
Hope this helps someone! The jackets in S are £50 at gooutdoors just now. There'll be an M in Edinburgh as of tonight 😉
