Just about to speak to Hiscox re: a quote for Prof Indemnity etc. and and going to query them on personal accident ins. at the same time.

Anyone got a policy that covers road cycling, commuting, MTB, DH? Looking online the Hiscox policy states:

The small print: significant or unusual exclusions and limitations
• Injuries while taking part in hazardous pursuits e.g. off-piste skiing, potholing and bungee jumping are not covered.

other pursuits such as open-water diving are mentioned and also:

any kind of race,
endurance test or any other activity which is known to carry an increased risk of personal injury;

^ Vague - will be asking them about that. Could cover getting out of bed.

Hi, I have a policy with combined insurance. I got it through my rugby club, mainly to cover for injuries there, but it covers all accidental injuries except winter sports I think. 😀
I've only gone for the broken bones option, but I believe you can up it to include torn muscles, severe bruising etc, which the semi pros use for loss f income cover when injured.
