I've seen plenty on t'internet about this and it seems a well know problem.
Just wondering if anyone has found a solution to the problem, rather than just getting warranty replacement axles from Hope on a regular basis?
I've been through 3 axles in the last 18months. It's an Orange 5 with a maxle, NOT the maxle light, which seems to cause the real problems.
Might change hub brand if I can't find a solution.

Take a snapped one in to a hope stockist and they should arrange a STEEL replacement for you.

My riding buddy had the same issue on his five, swapped to mavic enduro max wheels instead.

Or convert to pro 2 EVO by fitting the EVO freehub, axle, main bearings and end caps.
