dry, wet and muddy trails, clear blue skies and a cool breeze. Not a soul about, just track to show people had ridden this way too. Ride around Win Hill, from Bradwell through Aston and up to Hope Cross, dropping down The Beast into Ashopton Valley and back alongside Ladybower Reservoir and home along the old railway through Bamford. Nice, I'm about due a Hope/Ladybower ride!
Most of the bridle ways are in good order. The one from Win Hill to Hope Cross has been dug up quite a bit by horses galloping and there's quite a lot of standing water. Otherwise it's lovely. Rain forecast for today. It dry at he moment, then sunny for the rest of the week. Have fun.
