people who commute by car..........aren't all bad Ton.
Like the bloke who stopped to help me when my motorbike had run out of fuel. Insisted on taking me home to get can of petrol and back to bike.

Or the woman who stopped to see if I was OK when I punctured.

Or the bloke with the van who gave me and my bike a lift after my rear mech had gone through the back wheel despite the fact I was wet and covered in mud.

They ain't all bad. I wouldn't wish bad luck on all of them.

Have you had a bad experience?

SB

I see more pricks on bikes, I might be one but at least I get everywhere in the city quicker then the guys in the cars.

Well, yesterday I got thanked by a cyclist for hanging back and not overtaking him, as I could see that we were slowly catching the traffic up ahead & he'd only overtake me soon after, if I did go past.

Just sat a little way back & let him get on with things.

Today though, I saw a cyclist cruising along the pavement approaching a mini-roundabout. A car was also approaching the roundabout in the same direction indicatinng left. Just as the car got to the roundabout (about 2 bonnet lengths back from the cyclist) the cyclist hops off the kerb onto the road without looking over his shoulder & proceeds straight on over the roundabout. Only the quick reactions of the woman driving stopped the cyclist being flattened.

But yeah, you're right.....all car driving commuters are imbecilic morons..... ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

@daveyboywonder - yep it is a bit cak.....but after ~6 months of no luck finding a job I couldn't really turn this one down - even if it's a bit of a chore.
Did consider parking up 40 miles in & cycling the last 20, but so far haven't got round to it. Would have to get out of bed stupid early!

ton - I would love to commute by bike but they aren't too much cop on the M25. On the plus side I work from home ~3 days a week so whilst you are cycling to and from work on the road I'll be in the woods for a couple of hours this lunctime.
