Maybe worth it for the sub niche factor alone then!

You will be slower without gears. As I found out the other day.

Depends where you ride and what gear you use, I guess?
For most of the rides I do, I'm quicker on the singlespeed.

Here's another pic:

I have mine singlespeeded (singlesped?). It suits the bike amazingly well. 32x18

Think I need a new chainring though as I seem to have bent the On-One stainless one I'm using.

Edit: Surly sprocket as a minimum - no cheap and nasty rear cogs.

Stand out from the crowd & be different, leave the gears on it.
Bit like tattoo's innit - People used to have them to be different & to show how, well, whatever it's meant to show...Now ya nan, mom, grandad, dad, dog, goldfish etc have 'em.Can't wait to see what all those eejits covered in tribal sh!t look like when they get older....lol

Tannoy "Pedalhead to the forum, Pedalhead to the forum"

hi matey ๐Ÿ™‚

I suspect geared Pegasus' (what's the plural of Pegasus?) are probably in the minority. Mine's been 1x9, 3x9 and now singlespeed. The latter is much more fun of course & I'm intending to keep it that way for all the events I've lined up this year, unless my knees give up first. Seems that I'm spamming this bike on the forum today...

only an issue if you got tat's for fashion rather than because you actually like them. ๐Ÿ™„

with regards to the one speed thing....get that dingle dangle rear filth off and be a man, with a beard and everything....just like a pirate....you can wear an eye patch as well......and have a cutlass in your bottle cage.....grrrrrr
