Hi - I need to travel during 'Peak' hrs with my bike (through London) - so I can't take the bike as is, but wondered if i'd get away with it if it was in a bike bag - maybe a thin one like this?

Take it in whichever bike bag you want. It's like taking a suitcase. The only restriction is for non-folding bikes.

Nope. I'm not saying it'll be easy though as it's hard enough squeezing a person on the tube in rush hour.
