Sad to hear of his passing.
He and Phil were a part of making road racing as accessible and interesting as possible to a whole generation.

I'll always remember Paul Sherwen and Phil Liggett doing Channel 4 Tour de France.

He was the voice of Channel 4 cycle racing and then itv 4 cycling, always a quirky commentry team with Phil, they brought cycling to the free to air tv channels for the masses, he will be missed.
