I noticed a new little DH and jump area at the base of the SDW in Eastbourne, the map indicates Black, Red and Blue Runs - really? Anyone no anymore, might take my boy for a play.
There have been a few runs and jumps in there for 15+ years but in the last couple they have been built up properly and after some long negotiations the builders etc finally got it all approved officially with the Council hence the official markers and boards etc. There are 4 runs, quite short but fun to session, the red and black very steep so be cautious on them. The jumps are still being built. Good for a blast when dry, not so when wet as its chalk. Can then link in with the south downs and go over to Friston etc

@ dlr - cheers for the info, I'd noticed some runs in various states over the years, good to see it's been made official, it's odd that's there's a cycling festival in Eastbourne with no mention of it or Friston, missing a trick.
