Intrigued by these and as the casing is a little smaller than a true 29+ (apparently it's more 2.8 ish) I wonder whether I'd fit one in the back of a Karate Monkey frame for a kind of budget Krampus.

Anyone done it?
I'm struggling to find out what the minimum recommended rim width is for them though? ETRO is 76-622 from the Panaracer website but I have no clue how that translates...
IIRC Scotroutes has those tyres.
Just found this, so it seems they would fit in the frame - but this is on 35mm blunts - IIRC my rims are 27mm internal dia.

622 rim (29er) with a 76mm tyre, 76mm = 2.992" so 3" basically...
If in doubt, break out the tape measure...
on dually 45mm rims still only about 2.7" great rear tyre, dodgier than rolf harris doing a kids party on the front in wet winter conditions (dirt wizards are magic though)
