I don't like my chrome effect mudguards. I want cool black ones. Can you easily paint these things yourself without them looking like you've painted them yourself. Or should I buy new ones?

Buy new ones. At least the stays will be the right length. If you want proper black, buy Bluemells because the Chromoplastics are actually off brown.
