I need to do this but realised I don't have a fork box any more.

How do you do yours?

Oh, and what couriers will take air forks and shocks these days?

Not Royal Mail, as they'll probably sell them for you on eBay. Try friendly lbs or friends for a box

I don't have a friendly local bike shop, or bikey friends.

The whole Royal Mail thing is why I asked.

Plenty of bubble wrap, leave axle in if bolt through.
Wrap in cardboard over several layers.
I use FedEx. Could try parcel2go or interparcel for ordering online

That sort of packing is kinda what I had in mind david. I always feel like a parent sending their kid off to school for the first time when I hand them over to the courier: Packing paranoia is a harsh mistress.

So, this RM thing: I haven't followed it too closely but is it only RM, or are there others who are following suit?
