Pace RC7 Grease Carbon safe?

I have some Pace RC7 grease I bought originally I think for the elastomer forks on my Marin East Peak in 1998. So can I use my retro grease in my new carbon frame?

I did try emailing them but haven't heard anything back.

It was intended for their carbon fibre forks, so I can't see a problem.

Thanks coatesy, I had seen something that led me to believe that. I also found someone selling an old pair of the carbon forks along with some of the grease and the gun for it.

It was intended for the grease nipples that injected the grease below the seals - bushings...also handy to cover over the moving/sliding parts in the fork, but none of those generally hit the carbon outers (they did when the elastomers failed and squished everywhere) but it wasn't really for carbon specifically. Saying that, it probably won't do it any harm either...

Thanks DickBarton, for the sake of a few quid I'll buy some new grease.

For anyone searching in future the answer is yes it is safe to use on carbon. I've just spoken to Pace who confirmed it for me

Any synthetic/teflon based grease is fine for carbon.
