Any recommendations for some to use on the road through the winter? As I would mainly be using them at night, good reflective trim would be a bonus.

Oh, an they are to ft over Spesh shoes.

I used these extensively last winter. The sole is cut out for a mtb/touring shoe rather than a road-specific SPD

i should have said that although I am currently using spesh elite mtb shoes I will be getting some road specific ones shortly.

Have to say a few years ago I went from overshoes to Northwave farenheit for road use and commuting. Bit more initial outlay but I was doing a set of overshoes a year so they've paid for themselves now and less faff than overshoes when i'm in a rush in the morning

I have the endure mt500 and they fit perfectly over my spesh shoes. Use them on the road and off road. Also got another set but don't use them as they look weird.

Shimano's Pro brand overshoes are toasty.
