Hi i have a cube xc what originally had a 2x system , i upgraded to a 1x oval with 32 AB. I have a 11-40t cassette. If i upgraded to a 34t and a 11-46 would the chain line be too harsh and wil my shifting performance be compromised?

Chainline isn't altered with an oval ring and I've never had a problem with the shifting after fitting one. Double oval on a road bike is a different matter.
