I'm not sure a helmet would have saved him from most of those impacts?

I assume he is dead as we all know that riding a bike without a helmet results in death

when has jumping probably the height of about 30ft at 15mph+ onto a flat solid surface, with no suspension, ever been a good idea... that was only ever going to end in pain

just remembered seeing this on a program

If that's the same one I saw a while back, they interviewed the kid after he'd had his face put back together. He was a weapons grade bell end.[s] I wouldn't go so far as to say he deserved it.[/s] He deserved it.

What is this, an episode of 'Idiots Do The Stupidest Things'?

I've never really understood quite why some folk are willing to hurth themseves doing crazy stunts. I think they think that I watch them and think they're 'cool'. TBH, when I see people doing such things, I just think 'you're probbly going to hurt yourself doing that'. Which they invariably do, it appears. ๐Ÿ˜

I can understand why people want to try things like this, everyone who rides a bike wants to push their skills a little. what I cant understand is why anyone would try that without a full face helmet, never mind none at all. surely that is what they are designed for

The guy is perfectly fine.

Watch closely and you will see that he instantly needs to cover up his gut before anything else! His brain is functioning spot on lol

Here's the interview with the prize douche in the second one. Knocked out and a few injuries but could have been a lot worse!

He does seem a bit subnormal tbh. But, helmet wouldn't have prevented most of the injuries. Probably would have helped a bit mind.

Having said that, the impervious suit of armour that would convince me to do something like that will never exist. Maybe forcefields or something. Bungee ropes.

impervious suit of armour

I think this guy uses his ego as his suit of armour, seems to work! I forgot how mad BMX vids are, it makes me chuckle when you watch what they do in relation to the usual threads on here about needing a whatever inch full suss for riding drops.

Face plants are part of riding, I think these guys need to smarten up! but it's their faces and their teeth! or lack of teeth!!!

I they get the munchies after smoking pot, drinking beer and then riding their bikes, they have every right to eat summit, innit!
