All the new stems I'm looking at are OS (Seems std stems are a dying breed), I dont need/want to change my bars, so is there a shim available to shim a std bar to fit an OS stem? Found a 22mm-25mm one on CRC, but cant find what I'm after.

Cheers.

i would have thought shims would not be recommended for use on a mountain bike.

What kind of stem are you thinking of buying that you can't get in in 25.4?

I've got such a shim sat in a box in the garage. It's yours if you buy the STW fellas a pint.

IHN, will that'd be great. I'll paypal them a pint. I think my email address should be in my profile, if the new forum shows it.

I'm looking at getting the specialized comp (adjustable stem angle one), to try out different setups on my midge barred Cx bike, but its OS only.
