[Closed] Ordering a new set of brakes, which mount ?

Just about to order a new set of brakes but not sure which mount I need, post or IS. dont really know what the difference is to be honest, anyone help?
To go on a steel hardtail with rockshox Sid forks

Most brakes now will be post mount, post mount will have the thread in the frame/fork, IS mount will have the thread in the caliper.

Post mount points are about 3" apart and the bolts fit to the mount in the same plane as the frame.
IS mount points are about 2" apart and the bolts fit to the mount at 90 degrees to the frame.

If your forks have long butt ugly sticks with the bolt holes pointing toward the rear of the bike then you got post mount.

If you got shorter sticks with bolt holes pointing toward the left of the fork then you got the better ( ๐Ÿ˜‰ ) IS mount.

Post mount your fork will look like this.If it doesn't it will be IS mount.Just look online for an image like I just did ๐Ÿ˜‰ .
