I'm looking at getting an orange alpine 160. Wondering if anyone can tell me if this bike will fit on the Halford advanced bike rack for my car roof?
Don't won't to wait till the day I pick the bike up and find out I can't get the thing on the roof, haha!

It won't grip the down tube fully as that bike rack is meant for round down tubes.
I've got one of those racks and it held a Marin, box section down tube so kind of similar to the Orange.
The depth of the grip between the jaws has two positions and the deepest would, I would have thought, be ok for a box section down tube.
It should work but get a strap to go round frame and clamp just to be extra sure...I do that as I'm really paranoid about that kind of thing.
get some heli tape before you mount it in the rack.
Even when the bike is "clean" you will get rub marks and then cry about it.
