@KingOfBiscuits - that's just plain black

Not so, the black cherry is as it suggests, black with a hint of cherry in certain lights. Bloody lovely it is too.

It's probably my aspergic side coming to the fore, but how can you buy a bike with "orange" written on the side in any other colour? Just wrong!

mojo5pro - Norland moor I reckon !?

(An orange testing ground) I'm envious of your forks 44 RC3's ?

Missed the bargain on the 150's at CRC last week by hesitating

Yep, it's good ol' Norland. Close with the forks, they're 55's though not 44's...and they are brill! ๐Ÿ˜€

Agree on the orange Orange idea. When I got my latest one second had I really wanted a orange new one. Was going to get mine repainted orange but tbh I couldn't justify the cost as my paint's still in good nick. Will get a new one in the next couple of years and that'll defo be neon orange, probably with blue Hope finishing kit.

They all have those horrible SDG trail centre warrior saddles. They ruin a perfectly good bike.

You may aswell. You've got the triple chainset to go with it to. A classic touring bike setup.

Mine are superb Shorty and much better over small stuff then my old Floats. Sounds like you need to mess about with the settings a bit. Can't remember exactly which dial does what but there's one that really effects the small bump ride. Do you have the the set up guide that came with the forks? I'm a numb head but managed to set mine up using the information supplied with the forks.

Here's my 2012 17" finally finished in a spec i'm happy with (apart from an xt shifter which will replace the slx one this weekend). Back on spd's for longer rides at the moment but it's usually got some point one podium flats fitted. Rest of spec pretty obvious.

Loving being back on a Five, so glad they went ahead and released the new size as it fits me perfectly, was in between sizes before.

Ah, mine are twin shot so are different to set up. Even so,I'm sure you'll find the right balance with some tinkering.

Please explain, I've got one and it's ace. Why is it a trail warriors saddle?

BTW these bikes are awesome - more please!

I actually think 29" wheels suit the Five better than 26ers.

Just built up a 22", first one I saw was on a demo a month or so back. Doesn't look as gangly as most bikes I end up on. Just been on a quite test ride to make sure everything is good for tomorrow ๐Ÿ™‚

[img] [/img]

The routing through the swingarm was fun, ngggh. I'll take a better pic tomorrow, the neighbours looked at me funny, so I thought the best thing to do was hastily get back inside.

Note the SDG saddle.
