Sorry pretty sure mine isnt a SDG, I could be wrong though.
You're right, its not. I must have missed that one. Its just as bad though!

Please explain, I've got one and it's ace. Why is it a trail warriors saddle?

BTW these bikes are awesome - more please!

I actually think 29" wheels suit the Five better than 26ers.

Just built up a 22", first one I saw was on a demo a month or so back. Doesn't look as gangly as most bikes I end up on. Just been on a quite test ride to make sure everything is good for tomorrow ๐Ÿ™‚

The routing through the swingarm was fun, ngggh. I'll take a better pic tomorrow, the neighbours looked at me funny, so I thought the best thing to do was hastily get back inside.

Note the SDG saddle.

howza - the mudguard is one of these: http://www.stif.co.uk/mtb/product/mucky-nutz-bender-fender-2-1/10490
Used to use the rrp neoguard but a mate really rated these and after reading that they keep more crap away from the fork seals as well i thought i'd give one a go, job done, simple but effective.

this build was going well till I realised my steerer was too short, I need shock bushes and my bb needs bearings

Old

[img] [/img]

Much beefier and better looking new...

[img] [/img]

and then a little bit more beefier...

[img] [/img]

I will just say one thing... ride both as much as you can before buying... and buy for how you ride. Mine is a heavy beast now, perfect for riding in the peak / alps, but totally overkill for many other things. You'll get fed up of riding it otherwise.

I ended up buying a carbon hardtail, which at the moment I've been riding more (mainly because I keep breaking bits off the Five like rear derailures).
