Currently looking at an Anthem X2, pending a demo ride, mainly as it is impossible to get hold of an Anthem X frame, which has a Fox F100rl fork, I have no experience of Fox as I have always had RS forks. At the minute I have a set of 08 Reba’s with poploc which are great forks and apart from an oil leak at the motion control(which was fixed and motion control replaced with one that has an external flood gate adjuster) they have been fine. They have had a lot of xc use in all conditions, still smooth and are showing no signs of wear anywhere. I hear about lots of issues with Fox forks, constant servicing, warranties etc but it seems that almost all new bikes have them.
The question is are the 08 Reba’s a better fork than the F100rl, should I swap them over and sell the fox? I ride regular natural xc and put in lots of miles. I have read that the 2010 Fox stuff has a lot of improvments with the new fit cartridge etc but it looks like this will not be included in the rl model.

If it's any help, I had exactly the same thoughts before I bought my X2 a few weeks ago. Not helped by Merlin's offer on RS either!
My choice was between an X3 from my lbs (which would mean a whole lotta upgrading while I could be out riding this summer) or an X2 mailorder. I've got 100mm Rebas on my HT which gives me a bit of backup if the Fox's fail and in the end decided that the X2 made more sense. After a half a dozen 'shakedown' rides I'm happy with the Fox forks and will keep 'em till they break!
If I was to replace them though, it'd be with 2009 SIDs, not Rebas. The latest SID's have had a lot of praise on here and elsewhere and take the bike closer to X1 spec.
I'd recommend that if you can get an X2 now, go for it - like hen's teeth and everyone I know reckons yet more price increases in the 2010 models.
i have 07 reba on 1 bike,an fox on other 2,got fox 09 rlc, no issues, i think u will join the fox fan club like so many around the world
