So he originally wanted 2700 but I told him my max was 2500, so we agreed to stick the 1x SLX up front with a 30t Race Face NW and the SLX rear mech back on. Voila, 2500.
Yeah the top tube clamp - not tight (but I appreciate the risk, but was his stand!)
Few minor tweaks (my flat pedals on now) brake levers moved inboard a touch, steerer bolt tightened (tiny bit of play)
Fox shock at the back has an upgraded sleeve (no idea, looks cool...) And the Fox 34s are only a few months old, CTD / FIT etc, super nice. Too dark now for pics but I'll take some tomorrow.

It's not that hot either. Only 30c. We don't even have aircon.
And 2.5 was the most my wife would allow me to spend on my own birthday pressie. Pretty good deal I'm well chuffed.
