Flights, accommodation, transfers and insurance booked - check. Bike pimped - check. Body armour sorted - check. Helmet choice decided - check, Helmet cam at the ready - check. To say I am excited is an understatement!

I am going to test bikes 4 it at the local uplift chairlift. Can the prophet can the mustard or Will the patriot win the day. Do the red down to champery. It is cool.

Thanks for the tip GEDA.

First time for the passport. It has been on my list of MTB experiences for a while. I think it is as hard as you want to make it. Looks like it covers everything from freeride to fast xc.

GEDA - man up! Of course the prophet will suffice! You might find the whole 'experience' (Passportes and local riding) more enjoyable on the lighter bike perhaps?
The only time I found my bike caused greif (read - wrist pain) was on the battered old Pleney!
