I need a new pump. From various reviews, the Oneup mini pump and toolkit get decent reviews, but at £120, it’s far more than I’d usually consider for a pump and multi tool.
Any user reviews as to whether it is worth the cost?
The tool, absolutely. The pump is a decent add on to the tool but isn't as exceptional as the tool. Wait until they have a sale with ~20% off before buying
I had a voucher to spend so bought the pump and multi tool and a spare cage mount so I could easily swap between bikes. I really like the pump, it's as good as any mini pump I've used so far as long you only use presta valves. The multi tool is compromised due to its size, you can't get much leverage on it but it works well as a package. You'll get a pump and tool that works just as well if not better for less money but will they be as convenient?
I've run the tools for a while now and really like them. Never had the pump but recently needed something other than co2 for a holiday I found a battery mini pump seemed to make more sense.
My new forks won't take my EDC tool either so I'll probably replace it with a Topeka ratchet instead.
Or, just sling the EDC tool in my hip pack, that seems the simplest option
I was given one as a present a couple of years ago and really like it. The pump itself is a super sturdy, reassuringly expensive-feeling, press-on sort of unit - no connector hose - is comfortable in the hand, easy to use and pumps up mountain bike tyres easily and quickly. The modular mini-tool stuff is really neatly thought out and nicely engineered, but I always struggle to put it back together the right way round - the allen key bit that is. It usually takes me a couple of goes to get it right, but then I'm a cack-handed idiot. I never use the supplied bottle cage mount thing as it just feels like a lot of money to be entrusting to the security of a rubber o-ring. The head tube carrier for the tool looks neat.
I mostly just carry it in either a lumbar pack or in a larger hydration pack and it does mean you can swap pump and multitool plus stuff easily from pack to pack in a single unit. Mostly I don't really think too hard about it as it just works. It's neat and well designed etc, but 'worth it' is a difficult one as vfm is such a subjective thing. If you want a pump with an integrated mini-tool plus optional stuff like tubeless repair kit / quicklink pliers etc (more expense) either for mounting on the bike / and/or easy swapping from bike to bike or bag to bag, then there's not much else like it out there. If you're happy enough with a separate pump / multitool though, it's quite a premium on top of that.
Not sure that helps much, I figure it basically works well, but whether you need something that does what it does is down to you.
Edit: also, it's a relatively heavy pump if that bothers you. I have the larger of the two sizes.

The o ring is the last line of defence as the pump clips into the bottle cage mount and its a good tight fit. Mine has been battered down many a race stage and it never moves even 1mm
I have the pump and EDC tool. I also have the threadless carrier which I prefer. The pump is decent quality but the threaded co2 inflator tool is near on impossible to remove, thread won’t budge. I lost patience with it and carry a separate co2 head. I now have an electric mini pump.
It's a good bit of kit.
Mine is over 5 years old. Lives on the hardtail using the frame mount.
I also have the tubeless kit but don't use that. The chainlink tool lives in the pump's stash tub together with spare valve cores and rapid links.
Thump has the smaller pump. He destroys normal pumps but this has survived and that is an achievement.
For the eeb I can't fit the pump on the bike. The pump took up a bit too much space in the hip bag and so I use a Crankbros Multi17 multitool and MucOff electric pump.

Cheers. I'm being slightly paranoid, I know. Partly, I guess, because it's relatively heavy too.
I run my pump and tool in the pump mount and I'd go as far as saying that the o ring is pointless as the mount is more than tight enough. If the pump is getting out the mount then it's probably also getting past the o ring.
Just got the EDC tool and headset carrier personally. I use the threaded version of the carrier, when reminds me of my old USE safe-T headset clamp thing. The tool is really good. I have the tubeless repair prong in it too, so only need to pop and electric pump into my pocket when out riding. My backpack now only carries some Pedro's tyre levers (not really necessary), first aid kit, bladder and spare clothes. No tools!
I have the smaller one and I love it. The pump works surprisingly well and the multi-tool with the wiggly worm setter works perfectly if you've got tube tyres
I'm just looking for a discount code at the moment as I want another one for my wife
Yes they're great. I have the smaller one and swap it between bikes.
As above, means I can go packless for shorter rides. Don't need anything.apart from oneup pump and tool, bottle and spare tube all strapped to the bike

Same.
I switch it between my 3 bikes, including gravel.
It works well as a package, I even bought the expensive green chain pliers.
Wife has the smaller one which packs pretty much the same in apart from no space for the pliers.
I'd probably go for the small one next time (there probably won’t be a next time as it’s so solid).
Thanks all, yes, I’ll get one then. I’ve had a number of mini pumps over the years, none have been much good, either not enough volume in them, or difficult to use. I’ve got CO2 as well, but cant seem to get on with that either, its ok to get the initial fill in, but runs out too quick, so need to put another canister in to get the tyre up to pressure, hence I usually just get the pump out, and the one I’ve got now is just awkward to use, so a decent pump is on the list, and carrying around tools that always end up at the bottom of my bag is also a pain, so the Oneup pump and tools may be just what I require. I’ll leave it a few days to see if they are reduced. Thanks.
OneUp tend to have a couple of sales a year at quite specific times but I can't remember when exactly that usually is but I think they had one fairly recently so there might not be another one imminently.
