Any of you guys have an opinion on Oneal clothing? Do you have any? Any plans to buy some? etc etc!
All feedback appreciated. ๐
if you give me some DH race pants/top i can then give you an opinion.. ๐
As Motorcross gear, it's pretty good.
I ride mountain bikes so I'll be sticking to kit from bike companies, or from companies who make kit for cycling.
Their Dirt knee pads are good - identical to 661 Kyle Straits but with a hard shell instead of soft rubber.
Their clothing is generally the sort of thing you might expect to see adorning a fat chav kid who's gone through his mum's wallet. ๐
their DH shorts are the best thing I've ever ridden in. hands down, so much so that I wear them for XC even when its raining. They make some nice tops too, but I tend to buy 3/4 jerseys from sale rails rather than at full price.
I had/have quite a bit of o'neil mx gear (helmet, pants, shirt). I did have some boots but sent them back because they were the wrong size (and didn't get another pair because I wasn't impressed). The pants fell apart fairly quickly. The shirt was fine and the helmet is excellent. Mixed experience I guess.
I've seen it around at races and like it. Would look at getting some next time I need some new dh gear.
Ive got some of there t's and a hoodie, good quality but a little over priced there high street stores all closed before christmas i guess that sayes something!!
LMT: Think you might have Oneal and O'neill (the surf wear guys) mixed up
FWIW am I right in thinking that Oneal used to be Azonic?
There new knee pads are mint!
The DH kit (mx one) is good. Pants are good quality and fit. Slightly short but i suppose dedicated mx stuff really. Good quality stitching to unlike other brands... Jerseys are good to.. Style not quite up there with tld though!
There shorts are sweet as said earlier!!
Lids i have not used yet but they looked nice other day!
Thanks for the input guys - much appreciated! ๐
