Just eyeing up some of their merino tops. I wondered how shrinky they were from real world experience?

My on-one merino top shrank.

I may have mistaken the 60c button for the 60 minute button ๐Ÿ˜ณ

mine has been fine but, my good lady takes care of all the washing ever since i tumble dried everything instead of washing it.

Not remotely shrinky in my experience, which is based on washing them at appropriate temperatures for the material..

the thin base layers arent shrinky.
like weekendwarrior though, I did manage to produce a new ensemble for Jr's action man when I washed the knitted cardi. ๐Ÿ™

Hmmm. My first XL merino cardigan (same as above) now fits my wife - she definitely isn't XL even on Italian sizing.

But I liked it so I got a second one that gets washed properly - and my wife likes my old, slightly thicker after shrinking, one. So everyone's happy.

Yep thin base layers seem fine but I'd be careful wiv the heavier stuff...

microsized a great howies hoodie one and a Swobo Jersey loved both an they weren't cheap ๐Ÿ™

Had one shrink first wash, only a 30 degree wash with other kit.

Only bit of kit to have ever shrank.

Do mine on hand wash wool and they are fine.
Did one on 40 once and it turned junior sized.

The base layers are great, wash and wear really well.I've had 2 or 3 of them for about 3 or 4 years - I wear them regularly and still going strong.
I've washed them at 30 deg - no problems.

Wash at 30c, reshape while damp, don't tumble dry, no probs. Still not shrunk after 2 years.

Same here, washed and dried according to the instructions and no shrinking
