Hi all, looking for a local owner (Kent) who would be kind enough to let me look at this bike before I order as can't get to Rotherham to view in shop.
Thanks in advance.

Andy.

what do you ride now? Guess it depends what you're used too or are going to use it for?

Mines built and used for speed, thats whats its great at, it accelerates like my road bike and with the right tyres it doesn't seem that far behind once there.
Its a long top tube and with my low slung flat bars, I'd imagine on a full days riding Id be a bit more fatigued than most. I love mine and wouldnt change anything.....sorry I live up north otherwise you'd be welcome to have a tootle.

I have 2 853 inbreds that I have ridden pretty much everywhere from the lakes, peaks, snowdon, Canada

I was excited when the whippet was announced as its supposed to be the same geometry. I just found it felt dead to ride and in no way was it n upgrade for me

My wife has a Whippet and a singlespeed Inbred (gas pipe steel rather than 853). She much prefers the Whippet. I would agree that it is stiff compared to a lot of high end carbon frames that often have some give in them. However for the price I think they are great.
