A sagged 120mm fork is only slightly longer than a locked out 100mm fork, so it'd probably be fine.

If it's the exact same geometry as the scandal, inbred etc- and I'm sure they've said it is- then it'll be past its best at 120mm. I went right off my old Scandal after trying to convince it that it was a longer travel trail bike, it was rated for up to 130mm but it didn't ride well at anything over 110mm and was only really at its excellent best at 100mm.
YMMV of course and lots of people run long-ish forks in inbreds but I wouldn't. I'd have a 100mm Whippet like a shot though. What forks is it? Many 120mm ones can be reduced.
I have some F120RL or Durin's
